We left a few days before we were planning to head out into the Pacific for a mini shakedown sail to test out the new systems in the relatively safe Puget Sound. We had unbelievable weather for Sep – Sunny crisp clear days with enough wind to sail. The real treat was getting to have Sierra join us. And everything worked! Can’t ask for a better shakedown.
