Isla San Francisco

A happy man, standing on the tallest thing in sight

Landing in a new anchorage is like a child arriving to a new playground – so many new cool things to check out – What’s under the water? Any fish to spear? Is there a trail to that peak? A cave to explore? Always something new.

Isla San Francisco provided an empty anchorage, peaks to climb, and slat flats – a new one for us. This was a quick one-night stop over for us, but a very cool one.

Ophelia, tucked away in the anchorage

After our one night stay at Isa San Francisco we headed back towards La Paz. As we passed Isla Espiritu we saw our friends on Metanoia were in an anchorage and decided to stop by for the night and say hello. They invited us over for drinks and we got one last good hang out before the marina work of La Paz was to start.
